Baccarat Procedures
Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards that are valued less than 10 are counted at their printed value whereas ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they simply appear as the two hands to be given out).
2 hands of 2 cards shall then be given out to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for each hand shall be the total of the 2 cards, but the very first digit is removed. For e.g., a hand of seven … 5 will have a total of 2 (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘one’).
A 3rd card may be given out depending on the following codes:
- If the gambler or banker has a tally of eight or nine, each bettors stand.
- If the gambler has five or less, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.
- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the bettor hits, a chart will be used to see if the banker stands or hits.
Baccarat Odds
The bigger of the 2 scores will be the winner. Winning stakes on the banker payout nineteen to 20 (even odds less a five percent commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so ensure that you have $$$$$ left over before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winner bets for tie typically pays 8 to 1 and occasionally nine to 1. (This is a bad wager as ties happen less than one every 10 hands. be wary of betting on a tie. Even so odds are richly better – 9 to 1 versus 8 to one)
When done correctly, baccarat presents fairly decent odds, away from the tie wager obviously.
Baccarat Strategy
As with most games, Baccarat has some well-known myths. One of which is quite similar to a roulette myth. The past is in no way an indicator of future results. Tracking of historic conclusions on a chart is simply a waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.
The most popular and almost certainly most successful method is the 1-3-two-6 method. This process is employed to maximize profits and controlling risk.
commence by wagering one unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away four so you have 2 on the third wager. If you win the 3rd wager, add two to the four on the table for a total of 6 on the fourth bet.
If you don’t win on the initial wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you come out even. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. In other words you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
