Baccarat Chemin de Fer Codes
Punto banco is played with 8 decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards under 10 are counted at face value while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).
Two cards are given to both the ‘house’ and ‘player’. The total for every hand is the sum of the cards, but the first digit is discarded. e.g., a hand of five and 6 has a score of one (5 plus six = 11; ditch the 1st ‘1′).
A 3rd card can be dealt based on the rules below:
- If the gambler or house gets a value of 8 or nine, both players hold.
- If the player has less than 5, he takes a card. Players otherwise stay.
- If the player stays, the bank hits on a total lower than 5. If the gambler hits, a chart is used to see if the house holds or takes a card.
Punto Banco Odds
The larger of the two scores wins. Winning bets on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even payout minus a five percent rake. The Rake is tracked and cleared out once you quit the game so ensure you still have money remaining just before you quit). Winning wagers on the player pay 1:1. Winning bets for tie normally pay 8 to 1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a bad wager as ties occur less than 1 in every 10 rounds. Be cautious of gambling on a tie. However odds are substantially better for 9 to 1 vs. 8 to 1)
Wagered on correctly baccarat banque provides fairly good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.
Punto Banco Method
As with all games baccarat banque has some familiar misconceptions. One of which is the same as a false impression in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of future actions. Recording past outcomes on a chart is a bad use of paper and an insult to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper needs.
The most familiar and likely the most acknowledged course of action is the one-three-two-six technique. This method is employed to build up winnings and limit losses.
Start by placing 1 dollar. If you succeed, add another to the 2 on the game table for a sum of three dollars on the second bet. If you succeed you will have 6 on the table, subtract 4 so you have 2 on the third bet. If you win the third bet, put down 2 to the 4 on the game table for a total of six on the fourth bet.
Should you do not win on the 1st round, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first wager followed by a hit on the 2nd brings about a hit of two. Success on the initial two with a loss on the 3rd provides you with a take of two. And success on the first 3 with a hit on the fourth means you are even. Winning at all 4 rounds gives you with twelve, a take of 10. This means you are able to give up the second round five instances for each favorable streak of 4 wagers and still are even.
