Punto Banco Rules
Punto banco is bet on with 8 decks in a shoe. Cards valued less than ten are counted at face value while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).
Two cards are dealt to both the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The value for every hand is the sum of the cards, however the beginning digit is discarded. For instance, a hand of five and six has a score of 1 (five plus six = 11; ditch the initial ‘one’).
A third card may be given out depending on the rules below:
- If the player or bank has a total of eight or nine, both players stand.
- If the gambler has five or less, she hits. Players otherwise stand.
- If the player stays, the house takes a card on 5 or less. If the player hits, a chart is used to figure out if the bank stays or hits.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds
The larger of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the house payout 19 to 20 (equal money less a 5 percent rake. The Rake is kept track of and paid off when you quit the table so ensure you have money left over before you quit). Winning wagers on the gambler pays one to one. Winning wagers for tie frequently pays out at 8 to 1 but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs lower than 1 in every 10 hands. Be cautious of betting on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for 9:1 vs. 8 to 1)
Bet on properly baccarat banque gives pretty good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.
Punto Banco Scheme
As with all games Baccarat has some established myths. One of which is the same as a myth in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of events about to happen. Tracking previous results on a sheet of paper is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our paper desires.
The most familiar and likely the most favorable plan is the one-three-two-six technique. This tactic is used to pump up winnings and limit risk.
Begin by placing one dollar. If you succeed, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a sum total of three units on the second bet. If you succeed you will hold 6 on the table, subtract 4 so you are left with 2 on the 3rd wager. Should you succeed on the third round, put down 2 on the four on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth wager.
If you don’t win on the first wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st round followed by a hit on the 2nd brings about a loss of 2. Success on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you with a gain of two. And wins on the first 3 with a hit on the fourth means you are even. Winning at all four bets gives you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you will be able to give up the second bet five times for every favorable streak of 4 wagers and in the end, experience no loss.
